[ As obvious as Cas has always made himself where Dean is concerned, there was never any doubt in Cas's mind that Dean cared about him. Dean is kind. He's infinitely loving, and that Dean is the closest thing Castiel has ever had to a friend is a real, inarguable truth. But anything that Dean could consider "incredible" about Castiel is a relic of the past.
